One of the largest wooden structures ever built stands at the edge of the Tustin Legacy development — the surviving former Marine Corps Air Station Tustin blimp hangar (Barranca Pkwy & Red Hill Ave, Tustin, CA 92782), approximately 1,072 feet long, 292 feet wide, and 192 feet (about 17 stories) tall. Its twin hangar was destroyed by fire in November 2023. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this World War II-era structure housed blimps used for coastal patrol and remains an iconic landmark visible from Barranca Parkway and the surrounding area.
Not currently open for regular public tours, but a striking sight for group sightseeing routes through Tustin Legacy. Your bus can cruise Barranca Parkway for a close-up view on the way to or from any other stop in the area.
Old Town Tustin
Old Town Tustin (El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92780) is the city's historic downtown district — a walkable stretch of locally owned restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, and the Tustin Area Museum (395 El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92780; (714) 731-5701) along El Camino Real between 1st Street and Main Street. The museum is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and documents Tustin's history from its citrus-farming roots through the MCAS era. No dedicated bus loading zone is published by the city, but El Camino Real has wide lanes and pull-out space for short-term commercial vehicle stops — best practice is to drop your group at the intersection of El Camino Real and 1st Street, with the bus staging on a nearby side street until pickup.

Angel Stadium of Anaheim

Charter bus drop-off is on Katella Avenue, east of the main entrance; bus and RV parking is available in the adjacent surface lots with an oversized vehicle pass purchased in advance. The lot opens 2.5 hours before events.
